What We Were Given
Some gifts arrive wrapped in celebration. Others come disguised as ordinary days, family stories, inherited strengths, limitations, losses, and the particular landscape of a life. What We Were Given reflects on that inheritance—all the life we carry. There is beauty here, but also complexity. The painting is an invitation to consider what has been placed in our hands and how, over time, we learn to hold it with gratitude, honesty, and grace.
