Attending III
24x36 oil on linen
This triptych began as an experiment in repetition. Each piece holds a similar structure, painted slowly and with restraint-choosing to look long enough to truly see. For me, attending means paying attention- to color, to rhythm, to the subtle shifts that surface when I slow down. The changes are quiet, almost imperceptible, but something in me always deepens when I stay.
